Not much happened in 2019, life just went along as normal.
Deb and Neil came to visits in May, so we got in a bit of golf with Neil and Merv. Deb and Neil met Merv when we were all in Campbell River in 1991.
In June, Jonothan and Mae were married in Albany. This was their first wedding, the second is going to take place in the Phillipines next year.
It is not often that we get our whole family together, so it is on occasions like this that we must get a photo. Unfortunately Daen and Sophie couldn’t be at the wedding.
We also took a couple of photos of all the Darby boys together. Two generations of just boys.
End of the Year
Bruce and Rosie went to Thailand with Merv and Robyn in December. He hadn’t made much fuss about this at school, but this was also the end of his teaching career. Bruce hadn’t retired officially, but had the beginning of the next year on long service leave before retiring.
