I have been very slack at keeping the family page up to date but I have been putting pages together that tell everyone a bit about what we have been up to.
We all went skiing in 2004 on a school trip that Bruce organised and then later in the year Bruce went to New York to attend Ross McKillop’s Wedding. Otherwise life must have been pretty mundane.

Liam is now 6 and is turning into quite a young man. Very determined and emotional but also very inquisitive. He started to learn to read this year and is teaching himself to add (since they don’t do this in grade one.)

Dad and son often take walks in the forest next door, usually taking a friend with us (Jamie is standing on the log) or go gilgie hunting in Yalgardup Brook.
Easter was its usual success, with the great easter egg hunt taking place. Liam received several eggs and also a fishing rod. We have been out fishing a few times, haven’t caught much but we usually have a great time.

I have found a great spot near Gnarabup which is quite protected and has a few rocks for Liam to play on. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to have any fish but you cannot have everything. We can go swimming and climbing which is a lot more fun than eating fish.

Phillip, Kathleen and the boys came down from Kalgoorlie in March, so we all met up in Mandurah. Ben and Alex are old enough now to have girlfriends so we are now starting to get new people in our photos. Angie (Alex’s girlfriend) is sucking up to Karen on the right.

We went out to the Busselton Jetty during the Xmas holidays, took the train out to the underwater observatory and had a very pleasant day.

Daen is doing well, he is now into his 3rd year of his electrical apprenticeship. He has qualified for a new car loan, which is scary. If he buys a new car, he may never be able to afford to leave home. Rosie and I are hoping some rich young girl will come and take him away.
He still goes to the gym every night and is perfecting the body beautiful. I am impressed that he has kept this up and he really lives a very healthy and active life.
Rosie is doing extremely well with her golf and is now hated by all the women golfers. She has come down to a 18 handicap and may get lower than my handicap soon if she keeps progressing at this rate.
We will be off skiing during the July holidays and then up to Queensland for a weeks golfing. Hopefully Liam will enjoy the kids club there, like he did last time. This will give us all some time to enjoy ourselves and really relax.
